HA RCC Directions

Directions:

From Chorley area.

M6 south to jnct 23 (Haydock) eastwards towards Manchester on A580 East Lancs road, in approx ¾ mile, make a full 180º turn at the Golborn roundabout, after approx 600 yds, turn 1st left (not sign posted) into Netwon Lane. This is a good piece of road to meet up and gather prior to actually arriving at the RCC. MAP Meet at 2.45 for 3pm tour start.
 
Then. in approx 800 yds, turn right, (signed Regional Control Centre) continue up this small road, through "No Entry except authorised vehicles" signs. MAX SPEED 20 mph, watch for traffic coming towards you. The RCC is LAST entrance on right.
 
The RCC & car park are a secure area/building, If you arrive at the various entrance gate & doors together, once the first person has declared themselves and gained entrance, if the rest follow immediately, the gates won't close.
