- Thursday TBD 2010 - Brewery Visit. Allgates Brewery (Allgates is close to Wigan Railway Station)Train Times Here. Walking directions here. (Turn down the alleyway between the Post Office and Last Orders) The cost is £10 per head and includes hot food after the tour as well as all the beer you can drink in 2 and a quarter hours!!! The tour of the brewery is optional, depending on whether you can still stand up!!!
- Saturday September - Police Air Support Unit Visit at BAE Warton. 10.15am for 10.30am. Get to see the helicopter and talk to the crew about the type of work they carry out. Limited Places. Name, Nationality and Date of Birth to Julie either in person or via the contact form

- Date TBC - Sail along the Manchester Ship Canal Sail along the Manchester Ship canal from Salford Quays to The Albert Dock, with return bus travel and guided tour instead of the usual driving over it at the Thelwall Viaduct! Cost Approx £33. Please let Julie know if you are interested or use the contact form.
